The Code Compliance Division of the Community Development Agency enforces regulations in areas such as building and land use. Code Compliance is now a Division of the Planning Department.
Zoning issues, legal uses of land, the General Plan, recreation planning and much more is handled by the Planning Department, part of the Community Development Agency.
