Loma Rica Facilities

Departments: Airport, Equipment Yard, Receiving.

The Nevada County Airport is at 12818 Loma Rica Drive. That's about a half-mile up Loma Rica from its intersection with Brunswick Road.

The County Equipment Yard and Receiving are adjacent to the Airport.

(By the way, the nearest airport for commercial passenger flights is Sacramento International Airport, about an hour southwest of Grass Valley. Reno-Tahoe International Airport is about two hours east of Grass Valley and is the nearest major airport to Truckee.)

Crown Point Facility 500 Crown Point Circle, in the Whispering Pines Business Park, Grass Valley 95945. NEW HOME of the Behavioral Health and Public Health Departments.

McCourtney Road Facilities Departments: Transfer & Recycling Station and the Animal Shelter.

Eric W. Rood Administrative Center Most County departments have offices in this building, part of the Nevada County Administrative Center campus on Hwy. 49 at the northern edge of Nevada City. Here's a map and directions.

Truckee Offices Departments: Human Services Agency (several departments), Sheriff, Library

Veterans Memorial Building (Grass Valley) Departments: Farm Advisor, Veterans Services. (Spaces in this building are available for rent.)

Veterans Memorial Building (Nevada City) Rooms in the Nevada City Veterans Memorial Building are available for rental.

New Mohawk Road Offices Department: CalWORKs.
