The Behavioral Health Department provides a wide variety of services through its several divisions. These include Mental Health Services and Alcohol & Other Drug Services. County employees provide some services, while contracted individuals and organizations provide other services, with County monitoring.

Mental Health Board
The Mental Health Board is required to study, evaluate and make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on any or all mental health issues and programs in the County.

Mental Health Services
The Mental Health Division provides crisis and routine evaluation, treatment, referral and authorization for services for persons meeting criteria specified by several different funding sources.
