Customer Service

On July 1, 2001, the State Department of Child Support Services implemented a statewide uniform procedure for resolving customer complaints. The procedure includes the Ombudsperson Program, Complaint Resolution Process, and Child Support State Hearings.

To learn more about the complaint procedure, please call the Ombudsperson for Nevada and Sierra Counties, at our toll-free line (866) 901-3212. The Ombudsperson is available to assist you in making a complaint and in requesting a state hearing.
