PERSPECTIVES Button Bar


The green buttons across the top of your screen link to the top pages of our Perspectives-based Site Organization.

Living Here, Working Here, Business and Visitors describe the different kinds of folks who come to our site. Clicking one of those buttons will take you through a series of screens that will help you find what you're looking for.

The Government button is a shortcut to the Home Pages of many government agencies; not just Nevada County but local, regional, state and federal as well. If you already know the department or agency you need, this button will get you there.

The Emergencies button is intended to put information you need in a big hurry just one or two clicks away. Fire, health, food, housing, and other emergencies are covered here.

Top-Left Navigation Features


Next to "You are here::" you'll find a "cookie crumb trail;" a way to see at a glance where you are in our Website structure. (Each item in the trail is a hot link, making it really easy to jump back to any page along the way.)


The Keyword Search box lets you search all of the new pages of our Website. As departments are added to our new site, their contents will become part of this Search database.


The Community Calendar lets you search or browse County Government activities or for fun things you'd like to do.

The Quick Reference List contains hundreds of individual services offered by the County. You can search that list with a keyword, or by letter, or just browse.

Site Navigation Help takes you to these screens you're viewing now.

Email - Call will give you a list of contact numbers and Email addresses for every County department.

Visit Us shows you maps and addresses for all County facilities.
