The Juvenile Division is the primary receiver for all juveniles referred by the various law enforcement agencies, schools, and parents for delinquent or beyond control behavior. The majority are handled without court involvement via counseling, referral, and utilization of informal supervision. This division also prepares reports for the Juvenile Court and supervises those placed on formal probation and juveniles that are internally placed on six months informal supervision. This division also supervises the Juvenile Work Program.
Step parent adoption and underage marriage requests are also handled by the Juvenile Division.
The Carl F. Bryan II Regional Juvenile Hall is the secure detention facility for juvenile offenders.
