Purpose

The S.E.D. Team is a specialized tactics and weapons unit specifically implemented for high risk search warrant service, arrest warrant service, barricaded suspects, or hostage incidents.

Services to Citizens

In addition to the aforementioned duties of the Team, members perform

• Threat analysis
• Develop emergency action plans
• Provide training to other members of the department, including patrol staff, corrections, and court security.

Training

The team trains a minimum of two days per month.
