Training

This unit is responsible for ensuring that personnel training requirements are met each year as mandated by law and dictated by our departmental Policies and Procedures. The California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) and the California Board of Corrections Standards and Training for Corrections (STC) are the two governing agencies that oversee training standards for the State.
