Youth Coalition members Elin Honea and Lynn Skrukrud met with Grass Valley Chief of Police, John Foster, to gain his support for presenting and passing a Tobacco Retail Licensing Ordinance to the Grass Valley City Council.

Support for a Tobacco Retail License Ordinance for Grass Valley was presented to the Coalition for a Drug Free Nevada County by Tobacco Prevention Staff and members of the Adult and Youth Coalitions.

TOBACCO RETAIL LICENSING UPDATE:

On March 17, Youth Coalition members met with Grass Valley Councilwoman Yolanda Cookson to inform and gain support for tobacco retail licensing for Grass Valley.

Youth and Adult Coalition members presented to the Grass Valley City Council again in May and October.
